Mark qualified as a Solicitor in 1978 and has accumulated over 40 years of wide ranging experience in the legal industry to date. Having spent the first 20 years as a Partner overseeing the management of his own firm, Mark joined Brendan Kearney’s in 2012 to continue practising. Mark’s main areas of practice were originally Criminal Law and Litigation and he was involved in a large volume of high level Criminal trials and High Court actions over the years.

For the past 20 years Mark’s main areas of practice have been specialising in Commercial & Residential Conveyancing, and Probate & Licensing. From a licencing perspective he has been responsible for many newly licenced premises through the North West and has developed much expertise and experience in this field. Mark frequently has carriage of complex and high value property transactions and is able to deal with all Property Law and Conveyancing matters with ease. His professional attitude and his practical knowledge of the areas in which he specialises have resulted in a high volume of regular clients of both private individuals and companies.

Mark was a member of the winning NI Solicitors golf team who won the EU Solicitors golf competition in 2016 and still enjoys playing regularly. He also played rugby for both the City of Derry-Londonderry and Ulster. Mark was also a winner of the Ulster Championship medals with Derry-Londonderry GAA team.
