Sandra Wylie

Associate Solicitor

Sandra Wylie graduated with an LL.B (Hons) from the Queen’s University of Belfast in 1991 and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1993 after completing her training at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies.  Initially she worked in a large city firm in Belfast where she gained invaluable experience before returning home to the North West.  Sandra joined the practice in April 2016 bringing with her over 20 years’ experience in general private practice.  She heads up the family law team and specialises in dealing with divorces, matrimonial agreements and Children Order proceedings, both private and public law applications. Sandra has been accredited to the Children Order Panel of Northern Ireland.

Married with two children, Sandra understands the joys and, indeed, the challenges of family life and applies that understanding to her work.  She is a firm believer that practitioners should make every effort to resolve disputes regarding children amicably when at all possible to preserve a future working relationship between parents for the benefit of the child or children long after court proceedings have come to an end.

Sandra has written a legal column for Local Woman magazine for the past 3 ½ years and has covered a wide range of legal issues.
